Received a call from Andy at Marks and Spencer Watford. They have an urgent package that needs delivering from Hendon to Milton Keynes. Its a regular contract that their main courier company has let them down with again.Andy says if i pick it up he will pay £145 in cash at
watford M&S on route. There is just one problem. When picking up the package the company involved needs paying in cash to the sum of £185 which Andy will also pay at Watford. So
far i go along with this. The office in Hendon is red route so i have to park across the road, call
Andy on 07949 353217,someone will come out with the package,i can give them the £185 and head to Watford.I then inform Andy that if he gives me a land-line number at m&s that checks out
i will go ahead with it.Andy says he will call back.Five minutes later i get a call to say someone has already picked up the package and apologizes for wasting my time.
This is so obviously a con but i sympathize with anyone who gets caught out.Being offered a regular run from M&S could cloud many peoples judgment when they are struggling for work

Hi there,
I had a similar case recently, but the person paid in advance with a fraudulent credit card.
To cut the story short, I ended up losing the money from item I went to collect as well as the money for the delivery. It turned out that the credit card companies don’t take responsability for transactions done over the phone, even though the person had all correct details.
Too many scans out there now. Here is a little prayer for all man and van in London

Received a call from Paul Renolds at Marks and Spencer Pontypridd South Wales. They have an urgent package that needs delivering from Hendon London to M+S Aberdare South Wales. Its a regular contract that their main courier company Federal Express has let them down, Paul says if i pick it up he will pay £265 in cash, on route Paul calls again with a problem that the credit card machine is down at Hendon and when picking up the package the company involved needs paying in cash to the sum of £109 which Paul would pay on return and compensate us with an extra £15 for the inconveniance. I go along with this. Paul then mentioned that the office in Hendon is red route so i have to go round the back of Watford Way to Vivian Street, and give him a call on 07507945765, and someone will come out with the package, and give them the £109 to which I was fool enough to go along with I was then handed a padded envolope and started my return journey, an hour into my return journey I received a call from paul, he said he had been called out to another store at Swansea and for us to now deliver to the Pontypridd Store in Wales and instead he would contact us within the hour with further instructions and surprise surprise no call I’ve be had. I have now contacted the metropolitan police in London tel No 02077131212 and reported this, has they say it might have been recorded on cctv as we stopped in the bus stop in vivian street on the 9/8/2009
August 10th, 2009 on 11:46 am
Further to my previous message i forgot to mention that when i realised that i had been had i opened the envolope and found a blank cd

My gut feeling is this guy will just get a slap on the wrist rather than the good kicking that he deserves.
October 7th, 2009 on 8:11 am
In reply to the administrator comments lets all hope that this time your gut feeling is wrong and that he gets sent down and gets a good kicking. There is alot of evidence against him, i will be in court when the time comes so will post on here the outcome.

magistrates court jail between 2 and 15% of offenders depending on seriousness.crown court is between 25 and 50%. if he gets found guilty send me a photo of him.
October 7th, 2009 on 9:48 am
With those percentages it dosent look good, hopefully the judge may have been a courier before he went on the bench lol will certainly forward a pic of him if found guilty
October 17th, 2009 on 9:20 pm
I was also conned by this guy. My suggestion would be for as many of us as possible to turn up at court on the day he is in the dock and ask the judge to either make him pay us all back, plus interest or, send him down for a year for each person he conned, alternatively we could just wait outside for him and serve our own justice if the court does not. Anyone think its a good idea email me, dancar@gotadsl.co.uk

Also look out for Colin Paddington, he does the same but more smart. Pays first invoice on time then racks up a few big jobs and disappears. Says its removal company which is too busy, even turned up on one of the jobs!

colin paddington is the lowest of low!! he rented office space off me for a couple of months 2years ago, he lived in prince william place with his wife and small baby. they did a runner abroad and no wonder. luckily i was paid up to date, and when he was arrested from my premisis i saw the truth about him. Then the bailiffs kept coming and coming… parking fines, non payment of hotel bills, shipping payments missed, court summon’s, you name it, it came. i opened all his mail which i could have got into trouble myself, but i said to the police i did it for my own protection. 1year later when colin obviously hadnt paid is postal redirection i recieved bank mail at my home address—- he had registered his company at my home. i was so angry.. i went to my bank, and they were brilliant ( we had the same bank) they shut down his account, blocked his cards, cheque book, etc and emptied it. a cheque arrived at my house for £4000, in his name….. but im not sure what happened to it afterwards ( BIN) he is a horrible balding little man.. he has a tendancy to blink terribly when lying!!! if you google his name you’ll see alot more!! i believe he is still in whitchurch

Colin Paddington was a long term friend. Took me for over 100,000….. Not me personaly, just used my name and details to reck up mountains of bank loans and credit card debt. My name is now MUD and I always had a glowing credit record. I left the UK to work abroad for 4 years and he was running my removals business in London. I got the police involved as I was getting letters from over 30 companies all looking for ME to pay. He said he was me and produced my STOLEN bills to get the credit. I cant get credit anywhere now, or hire trucks or start a new business. The worst thing is to not pay your staff. Not that he thinks so! If anyone knows where he is now I would love to get things SORTED. The police are a waste of time, so its up to me I guess. I cant express the pure anger in this email. But anyone stung by this filth is welcome to join me.

Mr Colin Paddington up and running and at his old tricks again? everyone should be wary of this man, he bought Cardboard boxes from me for his removal company and then promptly stopped the cheque, total scum bag, I put a website up http://www.vospergroup.com, which he managed to get removed as it told the truth but was deemed defamatory and the hosting company probably just got fed up of him calling. Whilst I had the site up I had so many phonecalls and emails from his past customers including even his now ex wives telling me so many of his dirty little secrets, even after knowing this guy I found some things hard to believe.
Everyone should be warned to avoid this guy, Trading standards are totally ineffective, I would say Trading Standards are a waste of time as they wont follow up any complaints about him. He changes addresses regularly and hides behind his family and ‘new’ friends (as he doesn’t have any old friends) as he has obvioulsy ripped his old friends off for money.
If you have anything to say please add your comments here or on my blog, see below.
