It seems that since version 1.31 programmers implemented some tricky algorithms that are capable of effectively removing Virtumonde (which is otherwise a very stubborn parasite). But the story goes on - latest mutations of virtumonde virus attempt to block connections to MBAM website so that to prevent users from downloading the software. A couple of people commented in my hub that they used setup uploaded to either Rapidshare or Megaupload, which seems to fool the malware and allows to install the program.
